19th Century Swedish Painted Corner Cabinet
A 19th-century Swedish two-part corner cabinet in pine, with a dry-scraped painted surface in a rich tan with cream undertones. It has bow-fronted doors above and below an open shelf, while the upper cupboard retains its original fitted spoon or glass rack.
The upper cupboard has a working lock and key together with its original internal latch. The lower cupboard retains its original lock but no key; however, it does open and close with ease. Later brackets and dowels have been added to secure the upper section to the base.
