A rustic mid-20th-century stool with a thick, irregular slab top set on four naturally formed stick legs, worked and polished to create a pleasingly individual form. The legs are secured through the seat with visible wedged tenons, while the top retains the natural splits and markings of the timber. Simple, slightly quirky and full of character, it works equally well as an occasional stool or small side table.
