A set of four Italian beech armchairs dating from the 1960s. The design is defined by its bent-timber construction, curved arms and repeated slatted seats, with simple horizontal backrests. There is a pleasing economy to the form, with the construction itself providing much of the character.

The chairs have been stripped of their old varnish and lightly waxed, leaving the beech with a warm, natural finish and subtle variations from years of use.  In very good vintage condition.
