Pair of German Beech Wood And Woven Cane Stools C1950
A generous pair of German stools attributed to Egon Eiermann, dating from the 1950s. Each stool has a finely woven cane seat set within a simple wooden frame, supported on four elegant, tapering turned legs. The restrained construction and slender proportions are characteristic of Eiermann's approach to furniture design during this period.
The frames are believed to be beech, with a warm, aged finish, and the original woven cane remains in very good condition.
H (to seat) 47cm, W 45cm, D 45cm
