A characterful 19th-century French vendange table, made in richly patinated cherry wood.

The generous oval top is constructed from wide planks and comfortably seats six to eight. Traditionally designed with a tilting top for easy storage, the table has a simple trestle base with a distinctive curved support.

The cherry has developed a deep, warm patina, with the marks, old mends and irregularities of its long life adding to the character of the piece.
