A 19th-century French two-seat sofa with turned legs, finished in black paint. Its gently curved back is framed by distinctive rolled arms and a headrest, giving the piece a sculptural quality that sets it apart from more traditional country seating.

The sofa has been fully restored and reupholstered in antique hemp and linen, their subtle variation in tone and texture creating a quiet patchwork that feels both considered and relaxed.
