A unique collection of vintage Japanese street vendor stools, each handcrafted in wood and entirely individual in character, C1950. Their distinctive trapezoidal form was designed for stability and portability, making them practical companions for market traders and street vendors.

No two are alike. Sizes, proportions and details vary throughout the collection, with some examples featuring storage compartments within the base. Years of use have created rich patinas and authentic wear, adding depth and character to every piece.

Equally suited as seating, side tables or sculptural decorative objects, these stools embody the beauty of Japanese folk craftsmanship and everyday utility.
