An oak refectory table designed by Arthur Basil Reynolds (1903–1960) of Reynolds of Ludlow, England, C1940.  The four-plank rectangular top stands on chamfered square-section legs joined by a stretcher base, reflecting the simple, well-balanced craftsmanship associated with Reynolds’ work and the wider Cotswold School tradition.  This would make a wonderful dining table or desk. It is in very good condition, with the maker's label intact.
