A brutalist studio pottery lamp base by British ceramicist Bernard Rooke, complete with its original shade C1970. The lamp base is wonderfully detailed, glazed in a soft green-grey which constrasts beautifully with the matt reddish brown clay. It is in excellent condition. The original shade is constructed using multiple strips of cane. It has a little loss in parts and some wear to the stitching but is in good order and wonderful to have intact.
