A matching pair of original large Willy Guhl for Eternit 'Olive Pot' planters, Switzerland, C1960, with their original unpainted surface.  Swiss designer Willy Guhl created a series of sculptural yet highly functional outdoor forms for Eternit during the post-war period. His designs are now considered icons of mid-century Swiss modernism, valued for their simple architectural lines and enduring practicality.

These ‘Olive’ planters have a soft organic shape with a beautifully weathered surface that develops character over time. Produced in Eternit’s fibre cement composite, the material was designed specifically for outdoor use and should not be altered, cut or sanded.
