Johannes Joseph Maria Hoogervorst, or Jan Hoogervorst (1918-1982), was a Dutch designer, artist, and architect celebrated for his modernist lighting creations for the Dutch brand Anvia. He studied architecture before starting a career as an illustrator. However, after meeting Ilse Liebert of the Anvia family, he began designing for the company and became instrumental in their rise to success.
As with all of our lighting, this piece has been professionally rewired and PAT tested.
