We have curated a small collection of books from our library, which we would love to give or receive.

Book 1 - Irving Penn Portraits.  American photographer Irving Penn (1917 - 2009) is renowned for his fashion photography, portraits, and still lifes. This book was produced in collaboration with The National Portrait Gallery, accompanying an exhibition of Penn's studio portraits.

This book is a First Edition and is in good condition.

Book 2 - Keld Helmer-Petersen -  Photographs 1941-1995   Helmer-Petersen (1920 - 2013) was a Danish photographer who achieved widespread international recognition in the 1940s and 1950s for his abstract colour photographs.  This book is richly illustrated, charting his complete works.  Featuring an introductory essay by Martin Parr.

This is a First Edition publication and is in good condition, although without its dust jacket.

Book 3 - Elsworth Kelly Spencer Town - Spencer Town is a Shaker community in the Catskill Mountains, where American artist and sculptor Elsworth Kelly (1923 - 2015) lived from 1970 until his death. This book charts Kelly's large-scale colour works and the photographs of Spencer Town that inspired him.

This is a First Edition book and is in good condition. It comes complete with an invitation to the exhibition of this work in London.  The original dust wrapper is intact, and has a small incision on the front.
