PHILIP CARTER

British contemporary artist Philip Carter has always created personal work alongside his illustrious commercial career in Graphic Design. He revels in the medium of collage using the 'found form' of old and recycled materials which he finds on his travels. The nature of these ‘found’ materials – torn, course cut, shaped – contributes to the abstract nature of his work and brings a textured element to his pieces.

Carter creates just one of each of his unique sculptures with a name and background that adds to their soulful charm.

ANTHONY BURRILL

Renowned Graphic Artist Anthony Burrill has collaborated with designer and educator Oswin Tickler, breaking his traditional medium of letterpress type out of its strict grid with a creative coding system that produces prints with a fluid complexity that would be difficult to attain using traditional methods.

Burrill says “As designers we are always looking for order within chaos and some sort of rational use of space with type. The Coding system throws all those considerations away and produces work that has a unique look and feel.”
