A pair of Italian leather footstools dating from the 1970s. Generously padded cushions in warm tan leather sit within substantial timber bases, raised on chunky block feet. Whip-stitched detailing to the seams and centres gives a relaxed, handcrafted quality.

Over the years, the leather has developed a rich and varied patina, with wonderful tonal variation and signs of its history.

In good vintage condition, with wear consistent with age and use. The leather has some age-related delicacy and would benefit from considered use, but the pouffes remain both functional and decorative.
