Blue Guitar: Etchings by David Hockney

  • A first edition, first printing published by Petersburg Press in 1977. "The Blue Guitar" is a series of etchings by British artist David Hockney created in the 1970s. Hockney was inspired by a poem of Wallace Stephens who in turn was inspired by Pablo Picassos “Blue Guitar.” The etchings feature a recurring motif of a blue guitar and a seated figure.

    In good condition with original dust jacket.
